On Wednesday April 11, 2001 at 7:30pm, NAC will be celebrating its third year anniversary 
at the Northport Public Library

For entertainment we have: A preview of the upcoming Goldberg Concert which will 
be held on May 9th.  (Isabella Johnson has invited 32 pianists to participate in 
this unique and exciting event.)  We suggest you make early reservations at the

Several local musicians will be joining us in this celebration.

Northport Arts Coalition News: 
NAC has received a generous donation from the North Fork Bank.  And the Northport 
Library is lending us support for the Goldberg Variations event.

NAC has agreed to join the Huntington Arts Council to further our goal of supporting 
the growth of art in the community.

B.J. Cassidy has obtained permission from the Village Board to display local artists’ 
work in the Village Hall.  B.J. informs us that there is a large area of space available.  
The first exhibition will be called “Artists Celebrate Northport.”  We will be looking 
for works of large size.  Artists interested in this project should certainly attend 
the April 11 meeting.

We are happy to report that we are fulfilling our mission statement which is: To be a 
supportive network which inspires and connects artists, their art, and the community.

We are now eligible for grants as we have been established for three years and are 
incorporated!
