WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Your play will be read and critiqued by theatrical and literary professionals
-
You'll receive feedback by April 1, 2023
-
4-6 plays will be chosen to receive a professional staged reading
I NEED SOME HELPFUL HINTS
-
Original work only, please, no adaptations
-
Make your play no longer than 20 minutes (1000 words = about 5 minutes)
-
Write about something important or meaningful or familiar to you
-
Figure out your plot first, then write your dialogue
-
Keep the plot simple (exposition, conflict, resolution), remember you need to tell the whole story in 20 minutes
-
Try not to put in too many characters
-
It helps to write out character sketches first to bring your characters to life

Que tu obra no exceda los 20 minutos (1 hoja = aproximadamente 1 minuto)

Escribe acerca de algo que sea importante, significante o familiar para ti
