Current exhibit: Through April 9 – Marisa Comple

Marisa Comple is a Long Island native residing in Centerport, NY. Her work focuses on her passion for the outdoors whether traveling the world or exploring her backyard. She finds beauty in the smallest details as she elevates the ordinary to the extraordinary. Her subjects vary from botanical macro work to architecture, travel landscapes and portraits. She enjoys being a member of the Huntington Camera Club, Centerport Garden Club, and loves to travel. She is involved with the non-profit, h2Empower which provided the opportunity to travel to Ethiopia where she taught and photographed high school girls. Her photos have been included in juried exhibits at the Alex Ferrone Gallery, where they earned grand prize, Long Island Photo Gallery, Huntington Arts Council, and Art League of Long Island. She’s had one women shows at the Bayard Arboretum as well as local libraries. Most recently, she’s been published in "Click" magazine's Photos of the Year issue.
