THE NORTHPORT VILLAGE POETRY PATH IS IN!
GRAND OPENING AND DEDICATION CEREMONY
Sunday, July 14, 1pm – Northport Village Park
The public is invited to enjoy Long Island’s first Poetry Path and to join us as we officially dedicate it with all the pomp and circumstance it deserves. Check out some of the local media attention and keep your eyes open for news about television coverage!

Once you’ve visited the Northport Village Poetry Path, you can take it home with you by stopping in at The Firefly Gallery at 90 Main Street in Northport and picking up a copy of “Poetry Path: A Walk in the Park” which contains all twelve poems and their accompanying artwork, as well a wonderful bonus of the three honorable mentions and their artwork.
While walking the path is the best way to take in the poems, if you can’t make it to Northport you can still enjoy it by purchasing the book on Amazon. Of course, if you’re local please get it from Firefly since a portion of the proceeds from any books they sell goes to the Gallery.
Sponsorships are available at the following levels for anyone who’d like to support this exciting project:
*$350 – Exhibit Sponsors receive a permanent plaque on one of the exhibit stands and on the permanent sponsor exhibit. Only four opportunities left.
*$200 – Poem sponsors are listed on one of the poem exhibits for the year that poem is
displayed and on the permanent sponsor exhibit. Limited number available.
*All other donors will be listed on the permanent sponsor exhibit in descending order of donation
amount. The sponsor exhibit will be updated yearly at the same time the poems are updated.
