Poetry readings with a twist. Each month a featured poet reads some of their work and speaks with the audience about their process. Then the audience is encouraged to bring their own poems. All ages are encouraged to attend and participate.
Featured Poet: Frankie Soto

Frankie Soto is a two time winner of the Multicultural Poet of the year awarded by the National Spoken Word Awards in Chicago. He was the 2024 Spotlight Author for his poetry book Petrichor with Times Writes at the New York Times.. His poem "Spanglish" is currently used by professors at colleges, universities and institutions as part of their curriculum. His HIV poem "Guessing Game" was nominated and premiered as the only poem featured at the A3C Hip Hop festival in Atlanta. The New York Times called him “an absolute force”. His manuscript Petrichor was a top 3 finalist for the Sexton Prize in London, England, won a book prize with Tolsun Books, and was released nationally in 2024.
